Following their female empowering programs,, Women in Games teamed up with The Alternative School to launch a scholarship competition for the most talented ladies working in Game Development Industry.

Two scholarships for those under 30 and two scholarships for those over 30 will be offered n the name of the alliance.

Those interested to apply for the “Women in Games Scholarship” should send their portfolio / cv on a drive link, mentioning in the subject of the message #WiG Scholarship, until March, 14th, 23:59.

The candidates’ selection will be made by Cristina Neamtu – Women in Games & Teodora Migdalovici – The Alternative School. The complexity of the portfolio, the achievements and the potential for evolution are among the qualification criteria. For those making it on the shortlist, a special discount is in order.

Beyond training and guidance from the world's most talented creatives, those under 30 can qualify for the Young Lions competition by solving the three complementary briefs from the training, along with a teammate.

As in the past 19 years, winners will attend Cannes Lions (June 17-23), gaining full access to the festival's specializations and experiences. Additionally, they will participate in a 24-hour competition with the most talented teams globally. If they return home with gold, attendance at the 72nd edition of Cannes Lions is secured for another year, in 2025.
