The School of Values and #TheAlternativeSchool have launched ORbitOR, a strategic partnership that brings together their resources, ideas, expertise, and energy to create an empowering space where creativity, the courage to learn through applied experience, and the ambition to shine on international stages become a force for nurturing and promoting Romanian talent—with a strong focus on those emerging from vulnerable communities.

“The name ORbitOR captures the vision behind our alliance with the prestigious NGO -The School of Values. ‘Orbit’ represents the journey participants take toward bold aspirations, placing them on a trajectory of success and self-discovery. ‘Or’, the French word for gold, symbolizes excellence, international recognition, and the awards achieved by our collective previous generations—while also reflecting our intention to uplift those just starting their stellar journey,” said Teodora Migdalovici, #TheAlternativeSchool's founder.

The first initiative under this partnership includes 10 full scholarships for the #FutureProofCreativity module—culminating in the opportunity to compete at Cannes Lions 2026 for top performers. The scholarships are available to young creatives from the Bursele stART community as well as other communication-driven The School of Values' alumni.

“Through ORbitOR, we aim to offer young people not just access to education, but the confidence that talent and creativity can open international doors. Applicants will discover how far they can go when given the right environment. Each application tells a unique story, and these opportunities represent concrete steps through which dreams take shape. At The School of Values, every scholarship is an investment in the future. Through our partnership with #TheAlternativeSchool, we give young people access to global competitions and to a learning environment where creativity becomes a career,” said Silvia Bogdan, The School of Values' President and Head of the Education & Research Department.

The collaboration between #TheAlternativeSchool and The School of Values has evolved organically over time, rooted in a shared commitment to discovering, developing, and supporting creative young people from underrepresented backgrounds. Their work together has taken shape across several joint initiatives, including Teodora Migdalovici’s involvement as a juror for the Bursele stART program.

With ORbitOR, the two organizations aim to transform every idea, project, and scholarship into a catalyst for excellence—offering young Romanians the chance to refine their skills, turn potential into meaningful impact, shine on international stages, and build their own paths in the global creative industry. The initiative supports young people to grow beyond self-imposed limits or the constraints of difficult socio-economic conditions.

10 scholarships, endless opportunities

The first ORbitOR program kicks off with 10 scholarships dedicated to vulnerable talents under 25, who are invited to creatively interpret the theme “My life is a movie. Here’s the trailer” through a compelling 2-minute video CV in English.

The 10 selected winners will gain access to the #FutureProofCreativity module, where they will engage with over 30 local and international professionals in branding, design, communication, and marketing. They will also have the opportunity to tackle three strategic briefs, with the chance to qualify for a life-changing Cannes Lions experience through programs like Young Lions, Roger Hatchuel Academy, and more.

With thousands of young creatives trained in their learning ecosystems over the past two decades, these two platforms—united by a passion for transformative education—continue to address relevant topics in timely, meaningful ways, celebrating remarkable results alongside their growing alumni communities.
